Characterisation: The scope of the project included all construction works and the supply of all necessary materials and equipment, except the baggage handling system (BHS) and the FIS, FIDS and DCS airport systems, which were provided by other companies by the Investor’s demand. The new terminal hall includes three usable above-ground storeys, as well as a technical storey, an entresol and an underground level. The terminal building is over 9,000 square metres, while the total area of the terminal is almost 29,100 square meters. In addition to the premises allocated for passenger handling, the terminal also consists of a luggage sorting facility, a car park and a flight control tower for services coordinating traffic at the airport.
