Mariusz Żarek assumes the position of Board Member and CFO
Effective October 1st, 2022, the Supervisory Board of HOCHTIEF Polska appointed Mariusz Żarek as Member of the Management Board and CFO. He replaces Klaus Boede, who left HOCHTIEF Polska in 2022 to pursue further tasks within the HOCHTIEF Group.
Mariusz Żarek has nearly 30 years of experience in the construction and related industries, more than 25 of which he worked for HOCHTIEF Polska. He joined the company in 1996 as head of the Controlling Department, and then held successive positions as Commercial Director in Poznań and Warsaw. Since 2020, he was Economic Director of HOCHTIEF Polska, responsible for the area related to cost management and controlling of the company's construction projects.
Mariusz Żarek is a graduate of the Poznan University of Economics with two majors: economic cybernetics and computer science, and construction and investment economics.
After the change, the Management Board of HOCHTIEF Polska is composed of Tadeusz Blecha - President of the Management Board, Mariusz Żarek - Member of the Management Board and CFO.
