Description: The order given to HOCHTIEF Polska by Dürr Poland Sp. z o.o. included execution of part of the construction works for the realization of a new Volkswagen paint shop in Wrzesnia. The scope of the works included realization of a 34-meter-high main manufacturing hall designed on a rectangular plan with an area of more than 47,000 square meters along with staff and technical facilities with a total area of 9,500 square meters.
Construction works realized for the new paint shop were not the first project carried out by HOCHTIEF Polska Branch in Poznan for Volkswagen Poznan Sp. z o.o. Previous contracts completed by HOCHTIEF Polska included construction of a production and warehouse facility, extension of a car assembly hall along with the adjacent staff facilities, an office building as well as modernization of an equipment hall of special-purpose vehicles.
