The project will be completed in spring 2020

HOCHTIEF Polska Branch in Kraków was contracted to modernize and rebuild a didactic building of the Jagiellonian University at Reymonta 4 Street in Kraków. Investor of the project is the Jagiellonian University. The net contract value amounts to PLN 64,989,000 (approximately EUR 15.34 million). Construction works will start in December 2017 and finish in April 2020.

The order encompasses rebuilding of an object with seven over-ground stories and one underground story with a usable area of above 16,500 square meters. The scope of works also includes transformation of laboratories and workshops into a library and didactic rooms as well as executing related infrastructure and land development. Moreover, thermomodernization works, including thermal insulation of the building, replacement of windows and doors, and a photovoltaic installation with a power of 99 kWp will be carried out. The order encompasses finishing works as well as equipping the building with furniture and required devices.

Between 2010 and 2014, the HOCHTIEF Polska Kraków branch also constructed a building of the Faculty of Physics, Astronomy and Applied Computer Science of the Jagiellonian University in Kraków with an area of 24,200 square meters.
