HOCHTIEF Polska, Budokor branch has signed a contract with Platinum Towers Sp. z o.o., an ATLAS ESTATES LIMITED group member, for the construction of the Platinum Towers apartment buildings. The investment is part of the luxury hotel, convention centre and apartment buildings complex under construction at the very heart of Warsaw.

Platinum Towers is the one of the most modern apartment building investments in Warsaw. The complex will be located in the centre of Warsaw on a plot between Grzybowska and Wronia streets. This excellent location guarantees easy access to the city’s infrastructure and transport network for quick and easy access to other parts of Warsaw.

The investment is divided into five stages which encompass the construction of an apartment building with garages, service facilities and office building. Upon the completion of construction work the investment will result in a high-standard, coherent architectural complex. The contract states that HOCHTIEF Polska, Budokor branch is the contractor for stages I, II and III of the investment that encompasses the construction of a 22-storey apartment building with service establishments and an underground garage with driveways and technical infrastructure.

The construction work is scheduled to start in September 2007; completion is planned for August 2009. The Platinum Towers were designed in the Piotr Majewski MHW ARCHITEKCI architectonic office.

Through the use of modern architecture and sleek finishing details, Platinum Towers is set to become one of the most prestigious apartment building investments in Warsaw. A modern apartment building with a total area of about 60 000.00 sq.m. and 163 017 cu.m. capacity will comprise of a common podium and two towers - A and B located to the south. 23 790, 80 sq.m. of usable area will be divided into 387 apartments ranging from 35 to 212 sq.m. including spacious loggias. Entrances are located at the side, on the street from the south, and access to apartments is via staircases and high-speed passenger and goods lifts. The residents of Platinum Towers will have a 3-level underground garage with 565 car parking places.

The new apartment building investment in the Polish capital is unique with its original design and modern architectonic solutions. Each of the Platinum Towers contains a separate main hall with an entrance at the southern side of the building. The hall is the main communication path for all residents, guests and building service personnel. The halls of both towers are under 24-hour security surveillance. For easier access, all building service rooms are located on the ground floor. Additional emergency exits lead from the lift halls to the outside of the building and all technical facilities (heating centres, water terminals, transformer room and other technical equipment) are located underground.

Service establishments accessible from the outside passage are located on the ground floor of Platinum Towers. The entrances to these establishments are located at the front of the building and at the northern side from the”city square”, a general access public area with a green area and landscaped architecture.
