The committee of the 14th Platinum Drill competition, organised by Robert Bosch Sp. z o.o., awarded a Platinum Drill Award (Polish: Platynowe Wiertło) to HOCHTIEF Polska and a Golden Drill Award (Złote Wiertło), both in the category of commercial buildings. The first prize was presented in recognition of Galeria Malta in Poznan and the second one was won with the Diamante Plaza office building in Krakow. The awards gala was held in Warsaw on 25 May.

Galeria Malta, which is an investment by NEINVER, is the largest commercial and entertainment centre in the Wielkopolska Region. The three-storey complex, which has a total area of 162,000 square metres and is located at the junction of Katowicka and Archbishop Antoni Baraniak streets, overlooks the Malta Lake along with the leisure areas surrounding it. Galeria Malta offers its space to 170 shops and service shops, a Multikino multiplex cinema and a fitness club and has been surrounded with new green areas, providing space for rest and relaxation. The interesting architectural solutions of the complex include a suspended pedestrian and bicycle footbridge.

The Diamante Plaza office building, property of Aldesa Polska located at Dekerta street in Krakow, is one of the first office developments in Krakow's Zabłocie district. It is a four-storey A-class office building with approx. 10,000 square metres of modern office and commercial space, whose tenants can use two conference rooms for 16 audience each and a lunch bar. The building's total area is 19,785 square metres, 6,754 of which is its underground part, including a two-level 193-vehicle car park. The modern shape of the building resembles an irregularly cut diamond. All of its walls is glazed, which maximises daylight access to the interior. The interior design of the building offers huge flexibility to its users, giving them a lot of freedom in adapting it to their needs.
