HOCHTIEF Polska has signed an agreement on the construction of the Brama Portowa office complex in Szczecin. According to the provisions of the agreement, its value constitutes confidential information. “Green” office project order enabling LEED certification

The Poznaz branch of HOCHTIEF Polska will create two office buildings in the centre of Szczecin, at Pl. Bramy Portowej. The investment developer is SwedeCenter. The implementation of the project will commence in December 2010 and will be completed by the end of 2012.

This modern office complex, known as Brama Portowa, is composed of two buildings: Brama Portowa I and Brama Portowa II. Its total floor area will amount to 13,000 square meters. Brama Portowa I will include 6,750 square meters of office area, and 1,600 square meters of state-of-the-art commercial area. In Brama Portowa II, the office area will amount to 4,000 square meters, and the commercial area to 680 square meters.

The project will be implemented with the application of ecological solutions enabling application for LEED certification. In accordance with the rules of sustainable construction, the project will be equipped with innovative water and energy saving systems, optimal access for sunlight, waste degradation, and roofing providing protection against the “heat island effect”, and bicycle parking spaces for the lessees.
An additional advantage of the investment is the exceptionally low common space index – below 3%, and the possibility of very effective division of the area.
