HOCHTIEF Polska Branch in Warsaw topped out the Nowy Dom Jabłokowskich building in Warsaw on 18 January 2011.

A symbolic ceremony was held to commemorate the completion of the raw state of the Nowy Dom Jabłkowskich building in less than 12 months after construction of the office and utility facility began. The Nowy Dom Jabłkowskich is a prestigious project being implemented in Warsaw city centre. The project investors are the subsidiaries of LHI Leasing Polska sp. z o.o. and Dom Towarowy Bracia Jabłkowscy S.A. The six-storey building is located at the junction of the Bracka and Chmielna Streets, and will cover an area of 4 500 square metres. The ground floor will house the service areas, with the other storeys accommodating offices. The project also includes the construction of a two-storey underground parking zone.

The Nowy Dom Jabłkowskich was designed so that its shell would be reminiscent of the pre-war buildings while the architectonic solutions could combine with the style of the neighbouring buildings. These features allow the building to merge naturally with the Bracka Street spatial lay-out. The works are planned to be completed in June 2011.

HOCHTIEF Polska Warsaw has completed the reinforced concrete construction work in the facility. It is now carrying out works inside the building, with the finishing works being carried out on the underground storeys. The brick construction works in the overground storeys have reached their final stage. The roof construction works are also under way. The installation of windows and the sandstone elevation has also been started. The finishing works on the overground storeys are planned to commence at the end of January.
