Symbolic inauguration of construction works carried out by HOCHTIEF Polska

On Saturday, 19 October 2013 HOCHTIEF Polska invited guests to open day and presentation of general contractor of the residential complex at 51 Jana Kazimierza Street. Those guests were the present owners and prospective owners of the proposed apartments and premises. The meeting was a moment of symbolic inauguration of construction works as well as an opportunity to meet the site team of the project which was designed by Bulanda Mucha Architekci studio and is located in Warsaw’s Wola district.

The JK 51 is a residential complex of two buildings which will be located in Odolany, a part of Wola district. The 1st stage building will have six to nine stories and will house 163 apartments with total area of 7 970 square meters as well as four commercial premises. It will offer mainly small and the most sought-after apartments with floor areas ranging from 32 to 77 square meters (from one- to four- room apartments). Each of the apartments has a balcony or loggia. In addition, the owners of a part of apartments situated on the upper floors will benefit from terraces on roof. Moreover, a part of the ground floor apartments will have an access to their own garden. It will also include a car park on an underground storey. The main feature of the JK 51 project is its location which offers excellent access to the city centre (located approx. 4,5 km from the city centre), the West Railway Station (3 km) as well as a proximity of bus and tram facilities situated along Wolska Street and Prymasa Tysiąclecia Avenue. The location of the JK 51 provides for an attractive access to shops (Fort Wola shopping center) medical facilities, schools, preschools and green areas on the other. The JK51 residential complex will expand a new urban area in the location of the former industrial facilities situated along Jana Kazimierza Street.

- Pouring the symbolic pile of soli we officially inaugurated construction of the JK51 residential complex which constitutes 62nd residential project in the portfolio of HOCHTIEF Polska during our 17 years proceeding activity. Except for this symbolic inauguration of construction site we intend to introduce our team responsible for this construction works and we would like to tell about this project and proceeding construction works. We intend to establish close relations with our prospective customers and confirm them in their proper choice of the contractor of their own apartments. The first construction works commenced in August. From that moment we have accomplished the majority of excavation works . Due to the proper weather conditions the site manager intends to advance the excavation and foundation works before winter. The project is scheduled to be completed after Q1 2015 – said Witold Czajka, Area Manager at the HOCHTIEF Polska Branch in Warsaw.
