The project to be completed in June 2015

HOCHTIEF Polska’s branch in Kraków has been commissioned to extend
an existing industrial plant for assembling electric motors with a logistic building in the Niepołomice Economic Industrial Zone. The contract value was agreed to be kept confidential. The project will be carried out for the company Sopem, a fully owned subsidiary of the Somfy Group – leader in the automatic control of openings and closures in homes and buildings (manufacturer of e.g. electric motors for trellis, roller shutters, jalousie, marquee and gates).

The project scope includes construction of a new building to store as well as to package and customize finished products. The building with the total area of about 4 500 square meters will consist of two functional zones: warehouse hall with a storing height of 10 meters and workshop space which will house a repair shop, a pallet warehouse and a room for loading and control of lift tracks. Construction works will commence in November 2014 and will end in June 2015. The new building will be constructed next to the production and warehouse facility that HOCHTIEF Polska realized in March 2014.
