Development due to be ready in autumn 2016
On 25 February 2016, a traditional topping-out ceremony was held to mark the execution of the shell of the 2nd stage of the modern the Dom w Dolinie Trzech Stawów (House in the Three Ponds Valley) housing estate on Sikorskiego Street in Katowice. The general contractor is HOCHTIEF Polska Branch in Kraków, and the investor is OKAM Trzy Stawy Sp. z o.o.
The 2nd stage of the the Dom w Dolinie Trzech Stawów estate began in June 2015. The works covered the construction of a building with eight storeys and one underground level. The car park with 86 parking lots will be situated at the underground and one overground level. With its total area of 7,150 square metres, the building will hold 56 apartments with one to four rooms. It will be accomplished by the end of September 2016.
- We have finished what’s known as the shell of the building, that is the reinforced concrete works and the external walls of the building. Currently, we are working, among others, on the interior walls, the installation works for plumbing, ventilation and electrical systems, and the installation of window frames. What’s left to do is the plastering work, facade treatment, work on concrete levelling inside the building, constructing the concrete floors of the car park, installing door frames and all other finishing work, said Rafał Majczak, Site Manager at HOCHTIEF Polska Branch in Kraków.

In 2012–2014, HOCHTIEF Polska Branch in Kraków carried out the 1st stage of The Dom w Dolinie Trzech Stawów housing estate. As part of the works, two buildings were constructed housing 99 units and eight commercial premises.
