Completion of 1st stage of housing project and of BREEAM-certified office building by year-end 2017

HOCHTIEF Polska signed two contracts for the construction of a housing estate and an office building in Warsaw. The first contract includes the 1st and 2nd stage of the Miasto Moje housing estate at Marywilska Str. in the Białołęka district in Warsaw. The investor is a subsidiary of the Ronson Group. Underthe second contract, HOCHTIEF Polska will construct the 2nd stage of the Proximo office building in Warsaw's Wola district at the intersection of Prosta and Przyokopowa Streets, in the immediate vicinity of the “Rondo Daszyńskiego” metro station. The facility’s developer is the Hines Polska company. As general contractor for both projects, the HOCHTIEF Polska Branch in Warsaw will begin construction in July 2016. Implementation of the 1st stage of the housing estate and the 2nd stage of the Proximo investment is expected to be completed by year-end 2017.

The Miasto Moje project implemented at Marywilska Str. will be the largest estate of the Ronson company with the target number of approximately 1,500 flats. During the first two investment stages, three buildings with six above-ground floors and one underground floor will be constructed. The facilities’ total area will come to 39,556 square meters and the buildings will comprise 347 flats. The design of the new complex also involves playgrounds, sports fields, an estate amphitheatre, an open-air gym, and green areas. Thanks to this urban development, the new estate, together with the neighbouring projects, will lend the so far post-industrial area of Warsaw’s Białołęka a new attractive character. The residential buildings at Marywilska Street are already the 13th project implemented by the HOCHTIEF Polska Branch in Warsaw for the Ronson Group’s companies.

The project implemented for Hines Polska is the continuation of an investment for whose 1st stage the HOCHTIEF Polska Branch in Warsaw completed construction in May this year. During the 2nd stage of the investment, a cascade-style building with seven to eleven above-ground floors and a total leasable area of approximately 20,600 square meters will be constructed. In the underground part, changing rooms and showers for cyclists are planned, and the ground floor will feature service premises. The building will be fully accessible for disabled people. Parking facilities will be provided in a two-level underground car park, in a garage on the ground floor and in the above-ground car park (over 200 parking spaces in total). The scope of construction works also includes internal roads on the premises, technical infrastructure and land development measures around the building. Just like the facility constructed during the 1st stage, the second Proximo building is characterised by a large floor area, a low ratio of common areas, excellent surface lighting and optimum office depth. The investment will be implemented in accordance with the requirements for the “VERY GOOD” level of the BREEAM environmental certificate. The architectural design of Proximo II was made by the Rolfe Judd studio. The designer of the reception lobby is Pininfarina.
