On 30 January 2009, HOCHTIEF Polska Kpis-Cracovia Branch topped out the Diamante Plaza office building in Krakow.

Diamante Plaza at 24 Dekerta St. at the Krakow district of Zablocie is Aldesa Polska’s first investment in Central Europe and one of the first such projects in that part of Krakow. The completion of the building’s shell was marked by topping out the result of the 7 months of work.

Diamante Plaza is a four-storey class A building with approx. 10,000 square metres of office and commercial space. It also includes two conference rooms for 16 audience each, a lunch bar and a green patio. Out of the building’s total area of 19,785 square metres, as much as 6,754 square metres will be allocated for underground levels, which will include a two-level car park with 193 parking places. The modern shape of the building resembles an irregularly cut diamond. All of its walls will be glazed, which will maximise daylight access to the interior. The interior design of the building offers huge flexibility to its future users, who will have a lot of freedom adapting it to their needs.

Raised technical floors and suspended ceilings are aimed to facilitate the installation and maintenance of cabling systems and allow unrestricted division of the available space, ensuring a high standard of use. The building is to be soundproof and thermally insulated, as well as equipped with efficient heating and air conditioning systems. Its cutting edge ICT network is to ensure maximum connectivity and high quality of communications solutions. The site will be guarded by a centrally monitored security system, 24/7 security staff and advanced fire safety systems.
The project is scheduled to be completed in July 2009.

“At present, HOCHTIEF Polska is in the course of systems installation work, we are also doing wall construction and plaster finishing. Simultaneously, we are roofing the building and starting the work on the aluminium facade. We are soon going to commence the finishing works of the user-accessible spaces and on underground levels,” said Zygmunt Malewicz, Area Manager at HOCHTIEF Polska Kpis-Cracovia Branch.
