In September, HOCHTIEF Polska Poz-Building Branch completed the construction of the Concert Hall of the Music Academy in Poznań, started in April 2005.
The official opening ceremony will take place on Monday, 9 October 2006.

The Concert Hall is called Aula Nova and is located in Św. Marcina (St. Martin) Avenue, one of the oldest routes in Poznań, famous for numerous historical landmarks of the city. Aula Nova was designed by ARPA, the Architectural Design Studio of J. Gurawski. The concert hall meets the highest acoustic standards and can accommodate an audience of approx. 540. The scope of work also included the construction of a recording studio, lecture rooms as well as technical and staff facilities.

The building is also a perfect venue for cultural and artistic events for the Music Academy as well as for the entire region of Wielkopolska.

In the first days of October, two other buildings were completed in the city centre of Poznań: on October 2nd, a topping-out ceremony was held at the Andersia Tower, and on the next day – at the Library and Conference Centre of the Medical Academy.

The versatile Andersia Tower is constructed by HOCHTIEF Polska Budokor Branch in cooperation with the Poz-Building Branch for Andersia Tower Sp. z o.o., a joint venture of Von der Heyden Group and the City of Poznań. Von der Heyden Group is the developer and the owner of the building. That A+ category object combines the designed office and hotel use with its trade and services purposes. It meets the highest construction standards for hotel and office buildings. The hotel part will accommodate ****IBB Andersia Hotel run by IBB Hotels, a Spanish hotel chain. The building has a total area of 42,518 sq. metres and a volume of 190,905 cubic metres and was designed at the Architectural Studio of Ewa and Stanisław Sipiński. The hotel interiors were designed by Pracownia PRC. The work is scheduled to be completed in late April or early May 2007.

The Library and Conference Centre of the Medical Academy has been under construction by HOCHTIEF Polska Poz-Building Branch since September 2005. The design includes 5 segments with lecture rooms, patient handling units, labs and clinical science units. That centre was designed by Sadowski & Sadowska Architectural Design Company and will have a total area of 13,264 sq. m. The construction work is scheduled to be completed at the end of 2008.
