“Safety. No room for illusion here.” – This powerful and timely slogan sets the tone for the 12th edition of Safety Week, which officially begins today. As a signatory of the Agreement for Safety in Construction, HOCHTIEF Polska is proud to actively participate in this important initiative focused on protecting the health and lives of everyone on our construction sites.
Safety Week is a special time when we renew our focus on what matters most – the daily decisions that impact our well-being. It’s an opportunity to step away from routine, question false confidence, and take a closer look at the choices we make every day: “I do this all the time,” “It’s just for a moment,” “It won’t happen to me” – these are the thoughts that can lead to serious consequences.
This year’s Safety Week includes:
- trainings and hands-on workshops,
- meetings with experts and HSE services,
- first aid tournament with teams competing against the best in the industry,
- a special film about everyday decisions and their consequences,
- a BHP innovation contest, organized in cooperation with the Chief Labour Inspectorate.
Safety Week is not about theory – it’s about action, engagement, and building a culture where safety always comes first. Thank you for your commitment, and we invite everyone to take an active part. Together, let’s make safety our top priority – not just this week, but every day.
