Katarzyna Zdanowska has been appointed as CFO at HOCHTIEF Polska from July 2026.
She has been associated with the company since May 2025, when she took over the position of Director of Finance, responsible for accounting and finance, controlling and economic services for projects.
She has over 20 years of experience in the areas of finance, accounting, auditing and process and team management. Prior to joining HOCHTIEF Polska, she gained experience in managerial positions in the construction industry, among others in Warbud owned by VINCI, where she served as the Director of Accounting, Consolidation and Tax Department, as well as worked as the Director of Controlling at Vinci Construction Support Services.
She graduated from the Warsaw School of Economics in the fields of finance and banking, as well as management and marketing. She also completed postgraduate studies in data science at Academy of Leon Koźmiński. She holds the ACCA qualification and the title of certified auditor.
Currently, the Management Board of HOCHTIEF Polska consists of:
- Tadeusz Blecha – President of the Management Board,
- Katarzyna Zdanowska – Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
Katarzyna Zdanowska has succeeded Mariusz Żarek as CFO, who decided to retire after 30 years of work at HOCHTIEF Polska. The Management Board and employees of HOCHTIEF Polska thank Mariusz Żarek for 30 years of commitment, co-creation of the company’s development and contribution to building its position on the market. At the same time, they wish him prosperity and satisfaction with the implementation of plans at a new stage of life. They wish Katarzyna Zdanowska a lot of success and good luck in her new position.
