HOCHTIEF Polska Branch in Warsaw has completed shell of 44-storey residential tower.
The building was topped out on 23 January 2013 during a traditional ceremony which marked the completion of the shell of that 160-metre residential tower 20 months after the commencement of the construction works. The recent investment of Tacit Development Polska Sp. z o.o. is being built in direct neighbourhood of the Grzybowski Square in the core centre of Warsaw. In addition to the 44-storey 252-apartment building, the project includes a five-storey commercial building, whose space is to be occupied by offices and services. The four commercial floors (with shops, restaurants and offices) form a base above which the residential tower rises. The underground part of the complex has been designed as parking space for 299 vehicles. The space between the commercial building, with its future cafes, boutiques and offices, and the base part of the residential skyscraper shall be roofed with glass. Five lifts will provide the residents with access to the floors of the tower, two high-speed ones will be reaching floors 32 through 43, another two shall be serving the remaining levels and the fifth one will be used for technical purposes. The residents of the new building at Twarda Street shall be able to use a gym and business clubs located at level 4. The same storey will include access to a panoramic terrace overlooking the Grzybowski Square, Emilii Plater Street and all the four directions. The total area of the complex, whose eye-catching architecture has the form of a sharp, compact prism, will exceed 53,000 square metres. The diversified surface finish of the fully glazed facade provides a magnificent view for anyone outside and ensure that the building interior gets maximum light. In addition to the high standard of its interiors, the building gives its users the benefit of the excellent location, with its windows looking out on the nearby Królewska Street, the Saski Park and the Old Town. The project completion is scheduled for mid-2013.
