HOCHTIEF Polska Branch in Warsaw has completed the raw state of office complex located at 1 Sierpnia Street in Warsaw
A symbolic ceremony was held on 12 April 2012 to commemorate the completion of the raw state of stage 1 of the Business Garden Warszawa office complex in less than 14 months after completion of the office and utility facility began.
Within the contract frame HOCHTIEF Polska Branch in Warsaw is now carrying out two buildings on the corner of ul. Żwirki i Wigury and ul. 1 Sierpnia in Warsaw. The contract also covers the installation of the technical and road infrastructure, as well as a landscape architecture park. Both buildings form stage 1 of the Business Garden complex. They have seven overground levels and two underground levels, with car parks and technical rooms. The total area will amount to 58,000 square metres. The first building will house a business hotel, office space, a conference centre and restaurants. The second will have office space. Both buildings will have a reinforced concrete construction with a glass and aluminium facade.
HOCHTIEF Polska commenced the construction work in February 2011. Until now, the shell of an office complex have been completed. At present, elevation works are well under way. They are planned to be completed in three months. Furthermore, HOCHTIEF Polska Branch in Warsaw is now carrying out roof works and finishing works of garage and hotel part of B1 building. At this time, external and internal installation works are in progress. The road infrastructure, as well as landscape architecture works will start very soon.
The construction involves the application of modern design and technical solutions compliant with the principles of sustainable construction. A LEED certificate has been applied for in relation to B2 office building.
The works are planned to be completed in August 2012.
