HOCHTIEF Polska’s branch in Kraków has been commissioned to build an industrial plant for assembling electric motors in the Niepołomice Economic Industrial Zone. The contract value was agreed to be kept confidential. The project will be carried out for the company Sopem, a fully owned subsidiary of the Somfy Group – leader in the automatic control of openings and closures in homes and buildings (manufacturer of e.g. electric motors for trellis, roller shutters, jalousie, marquee and gates).

The project scope comprises execution of a one-storey production and warehouse facility with two-storey office and staff space. The total area of the building will amount to 12 694 square meters. The project also includes full execution of internal and external installations as well as land management. Construction works will commence in June 2013 and will end in February 2014.
