Klaus Boede has been appointed as CFO and Vice-President of the Executive Board of HOCHTIEF Polska, from August 1, 2015
Klaus Boede has succeeded Dr. Christof Brixel as Chief Financial Officer and Vice-President of the Executive Board of HOCHTIEF Polska and has taken over responsibility for all commercial functions. Christof Brixel worked as CFO and Vice-President of HOCHTIEF Polska from September 2012 and has now taken over as Financial Manager of the Business Sector Europe West of HOCHTIEF Infrastructure and CFO of HOCHTIEF (UK) Construction Ltd.
Klaus Boede has 25 years experience in the construction industry, 19 of which he has worked for the HOCHTIEF Group which he joined in 1996. In his professional career, Klaus Boede held various managerial positions with financial and controlling scope in many European countries. Since 2003, he worked for HOCHTIEF PPP Solutions, firstly as Commercial Director in Germany, further as CFO / Financial Director in UK and Ireland Business Units. Most recently he worked in Greece as Head of Finance and Administration at HOCHTIEF PPP Solutions. Prior to working for HOCHTIEF PPP Solutions he served as Controlling Director for HOCHTIEF’s companies in Czech Republic and Russia. Before joining HOCHTIEF, he held among others the position of Project Controlling Manager in Thyssen Schachtbau. He graduated with Diploma in Mining Engineering from TU Berlin, Germany as well as from Pennsylvania State University PA, U.S.A. He also has been the author of many publications and lectures about among others project controlling, project management, finance accounting, cost control and realization of PPP projects.
